Billie Durbin
Training Specialist
Billie Durbin serves as Training Specialist for the Training and Processes Team at McGohan Brabender’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
As Training Specialist, Billie’s principle focus is conducting employee training and providing system maintenance on McGohan Brabender’s internal sales database. Billie trains MB employees on the system and organizes and implements quarterly database update meetings. Billie is also responsible for performing audits, generating and tracking monthly compliance reporting, and generating new ideas for processes that improve the database’s ability to measure the company’s capacity to meet its goals.
Billie has nearly ten years of professional experience, seven of them having been spent focused in the insurance and employee benefits industry. Before joining McGohan Brabender, Billie worked in the long-term care field at an area nursing home corporation. There, she sharpened her skills through conducting employee orientation and training, as well as being highly involved in payroll, billing, contracts, family counseling and also serving as Director of Worker’s Compensation.
Upon graduating from Tecumseh High School, Billie went on to Sinclair Community College, and has since transferred to Wright State University. It is at Wright State that Billie is currently pursuing her degree as an MD/Psychiatrist.
Billie considers health and community a high priority. She demonstrates this commitment to both through organizing facility events and walks for the Alzheimer’s Association. She has also been closely involved in past with the American Diabetes Association.
Billie is married to high school sweetheart Adam. Together they reside in the Kettering/Dayton area with their baby boy, Landon.
