Jim Gehrt
Account Executive
Jim Gehrt serves as Account Executive at McGohan Brabender’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
As Account Executive, Jim is responsible for new account development and providing an exceptional level of service to existing clients. This is accomplished through continuous learning, skill development in all areas of the benefit management, and by listening to his clients’ needs. His goal is to be the trusted benefit resource for clients.
Jim holds over ten years of professional experience- -five of which he has spent in the employee benefit industry. His time with medical carriers and the professional assistance he provided to the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation prepared him for his career at McGohan Brabender. Before joining MB, Jim’s benefit knowledge was sharpened through assisting sales executives in advising clients about individual insurance products, as well as helping promote the reduction of lost-time claims and increased employee productivity.
Jim is a graduate of Clintonville Senior High School. He went on to obtain his Associates of Business from the Community College of Denver.
Jim considers community involvement a top priority. He serves as President of Toastmasters in Fairborn, is a member of Generation Dayton (Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce), and is actively involved in SouthBrook Christian Church.
Jim resides with wife Jennifer and their dog Bojo, an Alaskan Malamute. Among the activities that Jim enjoys most are snowboarding, live music, basketball, reading and hiking.
