Joanna Burley serves as Client Services and Communication Specialist at McGohan Brabender’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
As Client Services and Communication Specialist, Joanna’s principal focus lies in the arenas of technology and copywriting. On the technology side, Joanna provides internal and external training, directing the company and MB clients through the administration of FormFire - McGohan Brabender’s one-stop online medical enrollment application. On the copywriting side, Joanna brings the latest healthcare news to McGohan Brabender clients across a variety of venues, including newsletters, press releases, web content, and more. In addition, Joanna has also been involved in communication presentations and select multimedia projects, including benefit videos for clients with Spanish-speaking employees.
Joanna currently holds three years of professional experience. Before joining the employee benefits industry with McGohan Brabender, she concentrated her efforts in the field of education. Joanna served as a Spanish Instructor at Miami University, where she taught Spanish 101 to all collegiate grade levels. She went on to substitute teach at various area high schools before narrowing her focus to the arena of marketing. The teaching skills she developed as a college instructor served as excellent preparation for the client communication presentations, benefit videos, and internal training she facilitates.
Joanna graduated Cum Laude from Miami University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Organizational Communication and one in Spanish. Upon graduating she went on to attend Miami’s graduate program in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese.
Joanna currently resides in Springboro, Ohio.
