Kim Balling serves as Senior Client Services and Communication Specialist at McGohan Brabender’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
As Senior Client Services and Communication Specialist, Kim carries out three core responsibilities. These responsibilities include operating as web-based utilization specialist, serving as coordinator of the MB Learning Center, and fulfilling her role as media liaison and spokesperson for McGohan Brabender. Among Kim’s web-based services tasks, she is in charge of rollout meetings, promotional materials, and the overall driving of traffic and utilization to MyMBLink. On the Learning Center side, Kim’s focus is to recruit instructors, assemble courses and ensure the smooth operation of each class. As MB spokesperson, Kim uses her communication skills to appear on benefit videos and television commercials, as well as present communication services to MB clients and prospects.
Kim brings nearly 25 years of experience in the organizational communication business to McGohan Brabender. Kim began her career as Supervisor of Multimedia Publishing at a firm in the computer industry. She later transitioned into the role of Executive Secretary to the Controller of a chemical firm, and then into that of Administrative Assistant to the President for an area consulting company. Before joining McGohan Brabender, Kim’s most recent position called her to handle HR and administrative duties at a company in the computer hardware industry. The sum of these previous experiences prepared Kim to serve in her role as Senior Client Services and Communication Specialist with excellence.
After graduating high school, Kim went on to attend Miami Valley School of Court Reporting. She soon put the skills she acquired there to work at a local hospital, where she served as a medical transcriptionist, before beginning her career in business communication.
Kim resides with husband Jerry and chocolate lab Molly in Middletown, Ohio.
