Linda Fox
Financial Underwriter

Linda Fox serves as Financial Underwriter for McGohan Brabender’s Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus locations.

As Financial Underwriter, Linda analyzes market review and renewal quotes. She also prepares claim projections for self-funded accounts, as well as financial reports for small and large accounts.

Linda has served as an Underwriter in the employee benefit industry for 40 years. Before joining McGohan Brabender, Linda worked for 21 years with MetLife in group underwriting and account management for large and small group accounts. Upon transitioning to another regional insurance company, she went on to serve as Director of Underwriting and Compliance. Linda has also operated in similar roles with a third party administrator. Among Linda’s professional experiences with these firms, she has underwritten small and large group fully-insured and self-funded business, prepared and filed group insurance certificates with the State of Ohio, and analyzed self-funded business.

Linda earned her high school diploma from Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio. Afterwards, she continued her education with classes from Miami University, Sinclair Community College and Franklin University, later going on to participate in additional, company-conducted training classes. Linda obtained her education in underwriting through underwriting training classes from Metropolitan Life in Ohio and New York, and from the Group Underwriting Association of America (GUAA).

In addition to being a Licensed Insurance Agent, Linda has also been designated by the Health Insurance Association of America as a Health Insurance Associate (HIA) and a Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP).

Linda has exercised her benefit knowledge within the community through her membership in the Dayton Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (DAIFA) since 1990.

Linda resides with her husband Robert in Germantown, Ohio.
