Position Summary:
The Business Development Representative is a new sales opportunity to contribute to the top line revenue growth of McGohan Brabender. This position drives revenue through relationships with both existing and potential business partners and creates direct sales opportunities with employers.

Position Requirements:
  • Prospect target industries with the objective of securing appointments
  • Focus on sourcing, qualifying and converting leads
  • Identifies opportunities through daily outbound sales activities
  • Builds pipeline of prospects
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing and other teams within the business
  • Assists with research, analytics and reporting
  • Identifies and develops relationships with top centers of influence in market
  • Represents McGohan Brabender at specific events (i.e. Chamber events, trade groups, business journals, marquee events, etc.)
  • Serve on community boards for non-profits and trade organizations
  • Helps in executing the strategic sales plan
  • Maintains competition analysis
  • Work with marketing to develop materials to help sales team
  • Involvement in internal and external event ideas and management
  • 6+ years of proven success in a sales function
  • Experience in health insurance preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to nurture relationships and generate new business
  • Strong communication skills’ ability to make presentations at the C-level
  • Strong work ethic, initiate and commitment to the business
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in social media, especially LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Ability to work independently and generate new ideas
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
