We are halfway through our summer internship with these incredible students! They have brought so much energy, positivity and skill to our teams and we know they will have an impact wherever their career journey takes them.

The time has come to formally introduce our sixth and final McGohan Brabender summer intern! This fall, Andrew Houpt will be a senior at the University of Dayton studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He is working in our FAS department this summer as our Financial Analyst intern.

Let’s get to know more about this UD Flyer…

Q: What’s your favorite thing about your college?

A: The best thing about the University of Dayton is all of the friends and connections that I have made. All of my friends and people that I know are so welcoming and great to be around. I have met some of my best friends in college and they have made my college experience even better! I am very glad that I met them all!

Q: What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

A: The best concert that I have ever been to was in Georgia my senior year of high school on the way to spring break to Florida. I saw Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan in the Atlanta Falcons stadium. The end of this trip resulted in seeing Tiger Woods win the Masters on Sunday in Augusta too. One of my favorite spring breaks of all time!

Q: When you were a little kid, what was your dream job?

A: When I was a little kid, I wanted to own and or start my own business someday. I still would like to; I just have to find something that I love to do and a niche market that I can find success in.

Q: If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would buy?

A: If I won the lottery I would purchase lifetime season tickets to Ohio State football. I don’t go there but I haven’t missed a home game in years. My dad and I go to almost all of them together and it is one of my favorite things to do! I am looking forward to crushing Notre Dame on September 10th!

Q: Why did you choose to work at MB?

A: I chose to work at MB because this company has the most positive employees I have heard about. Culture was high on my list of things I wanted in a job, and I have only heard raving reviews about MB’s culture. I wanted to work somewhere that everyone pushes each other to be better and I think that applies to MB.  I also wanted to work where people are excited to go to work and where people are positive and I found that here at MB.
