Our next MB summer intern that we would like to formally introduce: Brett Gilbert! In the fall, Brett will be a junior at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and Insurance Risk Management. McGohan Brabender is thrilled to announce that Brett will continue his internship part-time as part of a University of Cincinnati CO-OP when school starts back up! The partnership with the Lindner College of Business has helped increase awareness about the Insurance and Risk Management industry and MB is proud to have multiple graduates from this program on our team!
Take a look at Brett’s answers below to learn more about this Bearcat!
Q: When you were a little kid, what was your dream job?
A: When I was little, my dream job was to be a professional basketball player.
Q: What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
A: The best concert I’ve been to was a Dierks Bentley concert. Not only was he great, but Jon Pardi opened for him. At the time Jon Pardi was not that big yet so it’s cool to see how popular he’s gotten.
Q: Do you have a doppelganger? Who is it?
A: People say that my brother and I look like twins even though he’s two years older than me. I will admit our voices and mannerisms are pretty similar — but other than that I don’t see the resemblance.
Q: If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would buy?
A: If I won the lottery, I would immediately buy Bengals season tickets. No question.
Q: In the short amount of time you’ve been here, what’s the biggest surprise?
A: The thing that surprises me most about MB is how great the culture actually is. Every company likes to talk about their culture being great. In MB’s case they were absolutely right.
