As we enter a new summer month, it’s time to get to know a new summer intern! Laney Miller will be a Junior this fall at Miami University in Oxford. She is working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Emerging Technology in Business and Design with a minor in Marketing. This summer, she joins the 51-99 Segment Team as our Benefit Specialist Intern!

As many of you know, we tend to carry on some “family legacy” traditions at MB… Laney isn’t the only Miller sister in the building this summer! Laney’s older sister, Lilly is a Benefit Specialist for our 100+ Account Team! There is no better feeling than a family referral. Let’s learn more about Laney!

Q: What’s your favorite thing about your college?

A: I go to Miami University and my favorite thing about it is the campus. The campus isn’t too big and really gives me the feeling of home! Another one of my favorite things would have to be the relationships that I have made so far. These relationships also contribute to the feeling of being home.

Q: Do you have a doppelganger? Who is it?

A: Yes, my older sister Lilly. Everyone here at MB can’t tell the difference between us (besides that I am more tan than her!)

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure?  

A: A blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Q: When you were a little kid, what was your dream job?

A: My dream job as a little kid was to be a nurse. I had a special relationship with my nurse when I had surgery as a kid and I always wished to be like her.

Q: Why did you choose to work at MB?

A: I chose to work with MB because I had heard so many great things about the company. The relationships between the employees and the culture within the company is something I have always looked for in a job. My time so far at MB has been great, and I am excited for the rest of the summer with the people and company!
