Mike Suttman

As President of McGohan Brabender, Mike’s central functions focus on strategy development and internal operations of the company. Faced with advancing technology, a shifting economy, and evolving legislation, Mike ensures that McGohan Brabender stays ahead of the curve and leads the change that the rest of the industry will follow.

We have seen what happens when leaders in an insurance consulting company are completely removed from their clients; they lose effectiveness in strategy development. For that reason, while Mike has reduced his direct client management, he continues to maintain a representative book of business with the internal support necessary to allow him to attend client renewal, strategy and reporting meetings to stay “in touch” with client needs and market challenges.

Mike began his career in the employee benefits industry with McGohan Brabender in 1987. He is truly grown from the “ground up” beginning as a Client Service Representative; Account Manager; Sales Consultant; Shareholder; Vice President until attaining his current role of President in 2010. Among Mike’s principal strengths is his ability to help organizations develop a long-term vision for their benefits program.
