This special session is for senior decision makers in an organization. Through a workshop format, you will have the opportunity to think differently about disruption and learn ways to successfully bring back and cultivate a positive “disruption mindset” in your organization. Being prepared for disruption is not enough. Great leaders embrace and even foster disruption – in their market, industry AND their organization. And through disruption, they grew and profited. Many “household name” companies such as Sears, Kodak, Yahoo, Toys R Us and GE were once “disrupters”. But they failed because they didn’t recognize the need to disrupt “how WE do things HERE”. Embracing disruption requires not only initiating change with your customers and suppliers but, more importantly, getting your own employees to change how THEY think and contribute. But change only happens if YOU, the leader, first develop a “disruption mindset”.
In this new decade, leaders will be held accountable for how they thrived through the disruption.
This class has been approved for 1.5 HRCI and SHRM CE Credits
