The Carolyn C. Mattingly Award for Workplace Mental Health — hosted by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and The Luv U Project — recognizes organizations that go beyond standard programs to embed mental health and well-being into workplace culture. This year’s top honor went to the Phoenix Union High School District, which implemented a comprehensive wellness framework including individual counseling, resilience-training, leadership education and systemic strategies to reduce burnout, boost retention and support equitable access to resources.
We’re proud to highlight that McGohan Brabender earned an Honorable Mention in this year’s awards — joining several standout organizations commended for their commitment to mental health in the workplace. This recognition reflects our ongoing focus on meaningful culture change, not just programs, and it motivates us to continue evolving our approach to workplace well-being and support.
