Ciaccia says pharmaceutical companies take a lot of heat for rising drug prices. But most people aren’t aware that middlemen within the pharmacy supply chain negotiate prices, often in secrecy. Ciaccia blames “a dysfunctional system.” Scott blamed “an overabundance of greed."
